1. For every inch of barometric pressure, that equates to roughly a 1/2 pound of air pressure per sq inch, now times that by a sq foot, and you have 72lbs of more or less of atmospheric pressure...This app has an extremely huge spread of measurement in inches/millibars, the developers could very well remove an inch on both ends.I've got no use for this app, but it's beautiful! It's like you have a classic, multi-scale barometer in your pocket, with the added option of background measuring to chart and review measurements.I would love to give this app 5 stars, but I can't.
2. I would rate it 5 stars, if I could adjust the sample rate down to 10 seconds and have a display added for pressure change per hour wirh an alarm sound for an adjustable threshold.Over 300 years, we have been measuring the atmospheric pressure by length, how far the atmospheric pressure pushed a vial of mercury up a vacuum tube.
3. It would be very helpful if the Graph function was delineated in hourly segments, rather than the current rather odd 168 minute segments.I've used this app for the better part of a year to quickly determine the temperature, barometric pressure and my altitude above sea level.
4. I emailed their support on a Saturday night and received a detailed reply from Jordan of customer support within one hour! Just incredible customer service!Amazing barometer app! By far the best I've found and tried, and my search for a good one is complete.
5. DS Barometer mirrors our home weather station in both atmospheric pressure and temperature.
6. I don't appreciate that only sea level adjusted pressure is saved in the logs; imo sea level, local station, and sensor pressure should all be logged separately.
7. When I discovered it was responsible for turning off my Do Not Disturb mode, allowing phone calls and texts through while I was sleeping, I removed it.So far this is the only barometer app I have found that successfully logs in the background but it has issues.
8. There's far too much lagtime, 3 or more hours, at the end of the graph failing to show actual current pressure readings as displayed on the gauge.
9. I can see it requiring storage space for the app (graph and trends data), but why read/write access specifically to USB storage, and personal folders and files like photos and media?Simple to use, good graphics.
10. Amazing!Got this because it claimed to track pressure history.
11. I use this app to track how pressure effects pain so I really needed the raw data.
