1. The app freezes and bluetooth looses connection, they cant find each other for pairing, and other error messages happen.Relatively easy to install and pair to the trailer brake, though I can see why some were baffled.

2. I have had issues with the controller applying full brakes even when barely touching the brake pedal.

3. After thousands of miles, it only really works right about 10% of the time and NEVER able to manual brake when really need it.

2. Update the OLD ECHO Smart Control App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "OLD ECHO Smart Control" » Open OLD ECHO Smart Control » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for OLD ECHO Smart Control » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear OLD ECHO Smart Control app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from OLD ECHO Smart Control servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "OLD ECHO Smart Control" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check OLD ECHO Smart Control app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, OLD ECHO Smart Control might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall OLD ECHO Smart Control. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall OLD ECHO Smart Control then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing OLD ECHO Smart Control not working

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make OLD ECHO Smart Control be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
