1. The hotspot connects and disconnects as expected, and the connection quality indication (a large green smiley) is helpful. It was a 5 star app until it stopped working since Android Pie update on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
2. An android radio is useless with out a good phone connection.Works. A bit confusing to set up, and once set up it still nags with questions I don't understand, but it works anyway, and that's much more than I can say for another app I've been using before and stopped working.
3. Maybe work with paid version and 1 month trial.I love this app it makes my aftermarket 13" android radio connect to Bluetooth and starting my Hotspot as soon as I am in my truck.
4. But I also have an suggestion for improving: If it would be possible to export the records (e.g. as csv file), it would be fine for using the app as driver's logbook.Works some of the time.. I'm not sure what the creators response is supped to mean vs my review.
5. Neat, clean, perfect! Tested on Android 10 with Huawei Mate 20X.I think it's a great app and it worked great on my last phone (Galaxy S8+) but rarely works on my P20 pro.
6. What phones work with auto tethering? Samsung clearly doesnt!!!Great app for switching on the hotspot on my mobile when driving with my car.
7. Please.... update ASAP!!!Amazingly it does exactly what it says on the tin! It watches for a connection to a particular BT (my car) and then it enables WiFi tethering/hotspot when the BT is connected.
8. I am using a Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact with Android Pi.It is one of the best workarounds available so far, solving Tesla's unwillingness to tether internet also via the Bluetooth.
9. The hotspot has to be turned on manually although it detects BT connection to my car headunit.
10. I hope the next version which works on Galaxy phones with Android Pie is next in line for a fix.
11. This apps detects the bluetooth connection, but cannot automatically change the setting.
