Why should I report an Issue with AuroraNotifier?

1. I paid the money in the only thing that changed was there's a little red dot on the picture of the globe showing where I am (I already know where I am) and then for the maps showing a forecast they post a link that's not associated with the app! This is very sad Aurora Notifier!!! If there's something more, let me know please!looks beautiful but I've had it for several months, it gives notifications in real time, thus you can't plan and wait for it.

2. As for the few times it happened in the evening, there was no sign of aurora outside, while colleagues told me about auroras I did not get any notification for... Conclusion: useless app!This app has completely stopped working this week.

3. Sends out kp alerts over 5 when it's cloudy and raining even tho theres nothing on other forecast sites and apps.It quit working! Just keeps saying refreshing! Ugh.

4. Heaps of data and loved the graphics.Works well, I might upgrade to premium but I don't see any place we are told what that gets us or how much it is.

8. Much improved and revamped as of May 2023 this is my go to app for Aurora chasing now.

9. This happened once before and lasted several weeks before it was fixed.Have had this one for years and still the best.

10. Also picks up on local sightings so you can head off with some confirmation that "it's on !".

1. Fix AuroraNotifier Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart AuroraNotifier: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the AuroraNotifier App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AuroraNotifier" » Open AuroraNotifier » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AuroraNotifier » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear AuroraNotifier app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AuroraNotifier servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AuroraNotifier" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check AuroraNotifier app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AuroraNotifier might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall AuroraNotifier. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AuroraNotifier then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AuroraNotifier not working

2. Fix AuroraNotifier Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AuroraNotifier be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AuroraNotifier not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AuroraNotifier may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
