1. Now, I can't properly save videos to my phone to send to anyone.No map ever, recorder disconnects constantly, can't even locate where to view video on app, user unfriendly, seems to be powered by janky tech as even trying to go to settings is frustrating.

2. It's not very easy to transfer from camera to phone which is the main point of getting this idk taking it back to Amazon thanks.Everybody saying the app isn't working for them regarding not being able to save a video to your phone.

5. They need to update the app to accept android 13.Cant download to local? Whats the point for an app and cam with wifi if you can only view the files after transferring them but you cannot save them locally? You still need to grab the memory card out to do that.

6. I have an S21 Ultra phone with this app it continues to crash, the map does not work, the settings don't work without crashing getting a white screen.

7. And the wifi shutdown the phones comuication as wifi looks for high-speed internet access.Worked okay until the latest update, the app will not connect to the dash cam.

8. I don't want to hear about upgrading Ficam because I'm running the latest version .At first it looked great but the longer you use the software you'll see that it's not that great.

9. You're supposed to go into the app settings through your phone and allow the app to bypass "storage(media)" permissions.

10. It says it doesn't work with the newer version of android.

11. The program says it's downloaded, but can't find them on my phone .

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Ficam Issues

1. Fix Ficam Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Ficam: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Ficam App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Ficam" » Open Ficam » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Ficam » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Ficam app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Ficam servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Ficam" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Ficam app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Ficam might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Ficam. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Ficam then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Ficam not working


2. Fix Ficam Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Ficam be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Ficam not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Ficam may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
