1. Easy to use and good ride.Everytime I try to open the app it's just loading and won't let me use it and the only solution is to delete it and download it again to be able to use it onceSpent ages trying to download this app Tenerife, don't know if it was the reception in my area but my phone had nearly full signal.. Once downloaded it was hard trying to set my payment details into the app and even once it was done I couldn't get a scooter connected to the app as kept getting a something went wrong message.

2. Tried to hire 4 scooters but after 30mins could only manage 3 and I gave up on the fourth so it left me without so spoiled the occasion for our party of 4, won't use again..Made our trip to Iceland more convenient and allowed us to see more in the short amount of time we had.

3. i cannot unlock a bike and it ruined my ride home.It takes a ridiculous amount of time for the scooter to automatically turn off.

4. App literally crashed on my first ride, got to our destination and had to go all the way back to park because the app wouldn't update our GPS, and crashed if I tried anything other than pausing the ride, which still wastes money.

5. Lovely option to have.Edit: I contacted customer support, they said the scooters I saw outside were not out yet, then told me "maybe they are waiting on the city" and I "just need to wait" and they don't know why scooters are out on the street but not showing up on the app.

6. ORIGINAL REVIEW: It took three tries to get the app to download, and now that I have it, the app does not display locations of scooters on it's map.

7. A 400kr ride, upped it 1600kr just because I forgot to click the button to turn it off.

8. Multiple times I haven't been able to lock their scooter and i get continuously charged for it.

9. Like, y'all can already detect that it isn't being ridden, it's just greedy to keep it on and charge people for it.Use them plenty and if I have had problem just go on the chat and they fix the issue.

10. What is even the point of having the map?Customer service is non existent.

11. Staff very helpful and the gps tracker has been fixed.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Hopp Issues

1. Fix Hopp Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Hopp: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Hopp App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Hopp" » Open Hopp » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Hopp » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Hopp app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Hopp servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Hopp" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Hopp app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Hopp might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Hopp. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Hopp then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Hopp not working


2. Fix Hopp Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Hopp be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Hopp not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Hopp may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

Hello, my app is not working. It will not open and the website wont load, i am trying to end a ride and i do not want to get billes all the money. Please can you end the ride.
