1. Delete VesselView Account through Email

There are 2 methods to get your data (and account) deleted by VesselView Mobile:

1. Under GDPR: EU/UK Residents have the right to ask (via email), an organization that holds data about them to delete it. This is known as the ‘right to erasure’. Organizations have one month to respond to the request.


2. Under CCPA: California residents have the right to request that a company delete the data/personal information it has on them. A failure to comply with this will result in a fine of upto $7,500.

Alternatively, you can follow these steps below to get VesselView to delete your account/data:

1. To delete your VesselView account, contact VesselView via email and provide the reasons for your request.
2. Mention the law under which you make your request (GDPR or CCPA).
3. Notify VesselView of the penalty for non-compliance - A $7,500 fine under CCPA and 4% of annual turnover under GDPR.

2. How to Delete VesselView on Iphone

1. On iphone, Goto "Settings "
2. Click on "General" » "Iphone Storage".
3. Select the app, and click "Delete VesselView Mobile".

1. Go to your Android phone Settings.
2. Click on "Apps & Games".
3. Select "VesselView Mobile" and Click "Uninstall".

8. Without the module, users still have access to a speedometer tool, a map with POIs, the ability to capture moments with the location tagged, plus other useful features.

9. When the app is open and connected to your vessel it requires a continuous connection and therefore may impact the battery life of your device.

10. • Allows for normal phone operation – call, text, streaming music, search the web, etc.

11. • Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
