The app is user friendly and I have enjoyed what I've been reading, but I gave it only 3 stars because I was under the impression that the subscription opened up the chapters so you could read them freely, but I was only able to read up to a certain point, then wait a week for new chapters to download even on stories that claimed to be completed.

2. I'm going to have to cancel my subscription if this app doesn't want to work.I have tried many different apps to read comics, and this one, hands down is my number one favorite! I like that they have a subscription option for unlimited reading and the cost is reasonable.

6. Unlike other services which just want to translate as much as quickly as possible, especially with their newer titles, the speech patterns are different between characters and genres, it almost feels like it was written in english to begin with.

7. I prefer to pay a small, flat amount monthly over paying 5 to 7 coins per episode, not to mention having to pay for the last 3 episodes of a series.I love this app.

1. Fix Manta Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Manta: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Manta App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Manta" » Open Manta: Comics & Graphic Novels » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Manta » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Manta: Comics & Graphic Novels app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Manta servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Manta: Comics & Graphic Novels" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Manta app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Manta might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Manta. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Manta then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Manta not working

2. Fix Manta Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Manta be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Manta not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Manta may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
