1. The iterations menu isn't there easiest to use yet, but the workflows are easy to set up! Great companion if you want more control over your vaporizer.It flat out doesn't connect.

2. In fact, previous app version did not need updating - perfectly working, no flaws, why did you need to "improve" the app to make it worse? Another annoying issue that the new version won't automatically connect to my Crafty even though the "Auto connect" slider is on.

I find it unacceptable to have the option of using a smartphone control for a $700 vape that claims to be the best available when the app is unusable with both the 1 Plus 8T and Google Pixel 7, which are both new phones.Needs major update! The Bluetooth keeps disconnecting everytime after couple uses.

4. Also going straight to my (only) device would be nice, no menus just pop open the app.It's okay, but it kicks you back to the main menu after 10 minutes & then there's a 50/50 chance of it recognizing the unit if you try to go back into the control screen.

5. And when it works, the app only has the bare minimum: no timed sessions, no temperature curves, no clear error messages to report (what the hell does it mean if my serial number flashes red, just tell us instead).

6. Without the app working it makes the crafty useless due to the fact it has no digital screen or manual buttons to increase and decrease the temperature.

7. Fix your app!The crafty wouldn't connect after a few months of having it, so I reset my phone/wifi/bluetooth with no luck.

8. And even when it does connect, I cannot get the workflows to work properly because the app keeps crashing.

9. My biggest complaint is needing to have location services turned on to connect to my volcano.

10. I usually end up having to manually turn off the Volcano and/or reset the Bluetooth connection.

11. Namely, the automatic shut off timer value display has changed from seconds to minutes.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Storz & Bickel Issues

1. Fix Storz & Bickel Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Storz & Bickel: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Storz & Bickel App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Storz & Bickel" » Open Storz & Bickel » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Storz & Bickel » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Storz & Bickel app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Storz & Bickel servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Storz & Bickel" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Storz & Bickel app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Storz & Bickel might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Storz & Bickel. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Storz & Bickel then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Storz & Bickel not working


2. Fix Storz & Bickel Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Storz & Bickel be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Storz & Bickel not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Storz & Bickel may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
