1. It’s a new open source project built around the goal of creating a great comic reading experience without the lag, the cost nor the Ads.
2. Thanks to github, you are able to communicate back with the developer with bugs that you may find and even request new features that you think would make Open Comic Reader 10x better.
3. Want to read comic books or mangas on your android tablet?
4. Give Open Comic Reader a try.
5. Or give some of your time to contribute code to the project.
1. I'm re-downloading it because that's how much I like itAndroid 11 user here..after android 11 implant scoped storage..open comic reader cant read external storage SD card..best app i ever use..please update this special permission access to android 11 users... *PS i giving 1 star because this needs an attention..i give 5 star for upcoming fixOld, but works great on new phones.
2. If you have trouble turning the pages increase the tap boundary in settings! Other wise so pleased to find an open source comic/zine reader that doesn't snoop or use adverts.
3. i would like to see this become a full open source comic manager.Open Comic Reader is legit, I use it to read many comics.
4. I was confused at first why my page doesn't move onObtuse, no obvious way to open a fileThere is no way to point the program to the cbr files.
5. Particularly good if you like to read old comic and magazine scans! Unfortunately there are a few bugs re finding SD cards and some clunky navigating re page flips.
6. Protip: increase your paddings to at least 30px and tap boundary size to max (200), then set library filter to "sort by series" on launch. This is the best app ever.
7. Otherwise thanks!from what i can tell there is no way to organize comics, sort comics or reorder comics.
8. Would like page turning via volume button also enabled.
9. Great app.Simple (as in spartan) is better in this case, even compared to the CDisplayEx.
10. Also had the best native page fit to screen of all the readers.
11. I don't know what the low star reviwers are using, but I tried a few and this is the one I stuck with.
