I'm re-downloading it because that's how much I like itAndroid 11 user here..after android 11 implant scoped storage..open comic reader cant read external storage SD card..best app i ever use..please update this special permission access to android 11 users... *PS i giving 1 star because this needs an attention..i give 5 star for upcoming fixOld, but works great on new phones.

2. If you have trouble turning the pages increase the tap boundary in settings! Other wise so pleased to find an open source comic/zine reader that doesn't snoop or use adverts.

1. Fix Open Comic Reader Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Open Comic Reader: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Open Comic Reader App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Open Comic Reader" » Open Open Comic Reader » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Open Comic Reader » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Open Comic Reader app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Open Comic Reader servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Open Comic Reader" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Open Comic Reader app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Open Comic Reader might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Open Comic Reader. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Open Comic Reader then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Open Comic Reader not working

2. Fix Open Comic Reader Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Open Comic Reader be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Open Comic Reader not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Open Comic Reader may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
