1. My only wish is that there was a drawing option in addition to the multiple choice and keyboard, but maybe some day 😁I have finally found a great app to learn Hiragana.
2. Don't you think it's some kind of mistake? Doesn't it seem like a scam? Will you remove old purchases every time before increasing the price?Great for learning the basics! I really like that it removes a star when I mess up one instead of just keeping the ones I already earned.
3. I want to have to type the answers, giving me multiple choice makes it too easy when the difficult thing about learning kana is the characters that look similar.
4. I'm so happy I found this as it will definitely be a major staple in my journey of learning the Japanese language.Great app to quickly memorize hiragana.
5. I can't speak for the other app (for katakana) as of yet, but I would assume it's of equal quality in teaching.I've used so many other apps that assume you already know hiragana and I've spent so much time trying to just remember all of it with Quizlet.
6. If you show me a character and I know it's one of 2 I often mix up, but only 1 of those is a possibility in the multiple choice it's obvious which one it is.Katakana Pro and Hiragana Pro are brilliant apps.
7. The app is simple, yet packed with great quizzes that get your mind going and they have a few different ways to help you to really memorize every one of the Hiragana.
8. You can choose between an immediate multiple choice option, or a tap-to-see option which allows you to recall the meaning before given the multiple choice, effectively giving you 2 levels of difficulty.
9. The on screen keyboard works exceptionally poorly, I'm not sure why the developers would force us to use that instead of the keyboard on the phone that is actually responsive.Of the several attempts I've made to learn Japanese, this app is the best.
10. The speed tests are incredibly fun also, definitely worth the money if you plan on starting out learning hiragana.
11. The developer changes the entire feel of the app every single time there's an update, adding/ removing kana, moving things, etc.
