1. No doubt there are data acquisition costs which are not available publicly, but the pricing model has certainly pushed me away.I must admit, I'm a little puzzled by the negative reviews, as my first impression of this app is that it is *STELLAR*! True, the free version does limit you to a 24hr forecast and, should you decide to purchase a subscription, $23 USD per year is significant.
2. Nice layout but ruined by the greed of the developer who wants £54.99 per yearly subscription! Greed! Greed! Greed! Better apps that give you everything this one does and a whole lot more include Astro Panel, Astroweather and Clear Outside.
3. I started to think to unistall this app and use free online weather forecast instead. What a waste of a developers time.
4. That said though, the dark sky mapping works phenomenally well, in real time, and, coupled with the nicely laid-out real-time dashboard and 24 hr forecast, all I have to say is, wow! Well done!!App is well laid out, and in principle a useful tool.
5. I appreciate this is likely a low-sales volume app but the annual subscription is more than nearly everything on the play store, not just astro apps.
6. I provided feedback to see if the models could be improved, but the developer defended the poor forecast, and was not particularly interested in improving the product.
7. Shame, shame, shame on the developer for trying to rip us all off!!!!!!!!!! Zero stars if I could give it.Dont waste time or money on this app.
8. It seems to be more conservative than other apps, so if it says the weather is good, it's likely good.
9. Give 'The Weather Channel' app from IBM a go instead. The application was updated to only show current weather +3 hours from the previous current +24 hours.
10. But now, the app has removed the free access to daily forecast which is for me quite annoying and fell useless.
11. The app shows 100% cloud cover for the whole day and the sky is clear for arround 7 hours.
