1. Can't use at night in a dark room without a huge glaring flash in your baby's room, less than ideal for the job its supposed to do! Stopped using after 10 mins trial but had to purchase already, waste of money.It doesn't work with an "ad hoc" wi-fi connection, wich it means you will need a third device (like a a router) in order to work properly.It connects easily to the second device and you can hear the baby well.

2. I would have paid for it if it could see in the dark.Your app is very good but does not works on mobile data please inform me when your mobile data version is available.Horrible! Small screen.

3. Doesn't stay connected.I was hoping to be able to use this when not home after purchasing the paid version.

4. Can't see in the dark and only 30 min free then you need to buy.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Amelie Issues

1. Fix Amelie Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Amelie: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Amelie App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Amelie" » Open Amelie - WiFi baby monitor » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Amelie » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Amelie - WiFi baby monitor app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Amelie servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Amelie - WiFi baby monitor" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Amelie app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Amelie might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Amelie. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Amelie then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Amelie not working


2. Fix Amelie Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Amelie be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Amelie not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Amelie may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
