Cancel International Humanitarian Law Subscription on iPhone & iPad

1. On your phone, open "Settings" and tap your Apple ID profile.
2. Click "Subscriptions" and select "International Humanitarian Law".
3. Click "Cancel Subscription" and confirm the cancellation.

Alternative method via AppStore:

1. Goto the Appstore » your Profile » Subscriptions.
2. select "International Humanitarian Law" and click "Cancel Subscription".

1. Launch the PlayStore app and click the hamburger menu icon.
2. Select "Subscriptions" » tap "International Humanitarian Law" » click "Cancel Subscription".
3. Your subscription to International Humanitarian Law will now be canceled.

1. Visit their website - http://www.icrc.org and login to your account.
2. Goto your profile or account page and click "Billings" or "Subscriptions".
3. Click "Cancel" to remove your subscription.

1. This application (app) provides offline access to more than 80 treaties and other documents relating to international humanitarian law (IHL) – most notably, the Geneva Conventions and their Additional Protocols, the ICRC’s original and updated Commentaries on the Conventions and Additional Protocols, the rules of customary IHL identified by the ICRC’s 2005 study on customary IHL and various ICRC documents on IHL.

2. PDF versions of treaties and documents, and of volume I (rules) of the ICRC’s 2005 study, can be downloaded in any of the eight languages – provided the text in question has been translated – by tapping the bottom-right icon when in the document.

3. The section on law and policy documents brings together public documents and links from the ICRC and the International Red Cross and Crescent Movement (Movement) that present or clarify various IHL notions and related issues.

4. Related practice for each rule can be found online by tapping “Related practice” at the top of the page; your device must be connected to the internet to access related practice.

5. When you first open “IHL”, we recommend you allow the app to complete the following processes: “Fetching IHL Treaties data”, “Fetching customary IHL data” and “Fetching PDF data”.

6. You can bookmark documents or parts of documents by tapping the icon at the bottom of the page.

7. You can download the list of ratifications in PDF or Excel formats by tapping on “States party to the main treaties” at the bottom of the page.

8. The app interface can be set to any of the eight languages listed in the settings of the side menu, under “App language”: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

9. The Geneva Conventions and their Additional Protocols are accompanied by the ICRC’s original and updated commentaries.

10. A share button – at the bottom of the page of every document –¬ allows you to share content through email and social media.

11. Open the app and wait for all data to be fetched (IHL treaties, study on customary IHL and PDFs).

12. The section on customary IHL is organized by topic and then by rule (in English only).

13. All documents are available as PDFs in various languages.
