Why should I report an Issue with DexPro - Gen 1 to 8?

DexPro Customer Insights

1. Im not too sure if you have already looked into this but being able to specify what kind of Pokemon you are looking for might be a nice extra for this app (like only looking for fighting, only looking for stats that have hp higher than 100).

2. Don't waste your money as it appears that we won't be getting Scarlet/Violet whilst iOS does.The App is easy to use, has a nice UI, and makes looking up the pokemon information you need Quick and simple.

3. The additional panels you included for evolution, catching and moves are really interesting but for the evolution i found that the images used for the Pokemon were blurry at times.

4. Couple of things that would be nice would be to have cloud save (thru google drive, etc) or save file locally and a checklist to keep track of seen/caught pokemon.

5. The pokedex in your application is very well organized throughout the 8 Generations you have included as well as being able to switch between a list view and just a icon view is really cool.

6. When going into the actual Pokemon the backgrounds were perfect for the specific Pokemon I was on and and there was a good amount of information included.

7. And of course when in list view being able to see their corresponding types was a nice addition.

8. Removing the "support us" banner from the top of you pay for premium.I like it, however I feel that if you were able to search the tm by its name, it would improve the whole tm aspect of the app, it is very annoying and redundant to scroll through all of the tms to find the one you are looking for.

9. The layout of the app is fairly good and gives lots of information about not only Pokemon Sword and Shield but all the other games as well.

10. UI is great and easy to use, but just needs a polish on some of the small but important things.To my fellow developers, I want to first off by saying that you have done a very good job for creating an application that is pleasing to the eye and very simple to understand.

11. I cant feel to notice that functionality is missing that would allow the user to swipe either left or right to go to the next Pokemon or the previous Pokemon.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix DexPro Issues

1. Fix DexPro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart DexPro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the DexPro App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "DexPro" » Open DexPro - Gen 1 to 8 » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for DexPro » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear DexPro - Gen 1 to 8 app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from DexPro servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "DexPro - Gen 1 to 8" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check DexPro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, DexPro might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall DexPro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall DexPro then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing DexPro not working


2. Fix DexPro Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make DexPro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to DexPro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, DexPro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
