1. Incredibly frustrating! Also I have to use the older version to be able to play the videos (but three current version crashed just the same.) It's a real shame, because while it does briefly work it's great! I'll probably have to return my camera.I bought 2 cameras, it wasn't really easy to set them up, but once they are set, they are easy to use with a good quality of camera especially the night video.

2. It used to work fine before but what happened? We (my family members and I who had the apps on our phones) used to be able to view the recorded videos on the playback button.

3. Wasted money on a paperweight.Crashes/Restarts constantly! Every time I try to watch recorded videos it will play a little bit, or maybe a couple of videos if I'm lucky, and then go back to the opening screen and load again.

4. It now takes even longer to view my camera feed in case of an emergency! I am VERY disappointed, I've had this for over 3 years and now all of a sudden the app decides that ads are a great idea.

8. 2- playback videos DON'T open most of the time 3- NO NOTIFICATION OR ALARM SENT TO THE PHONE OR THE APP TO NOTIFY IF SOMETHING IS DETECTED BY THE MOTION SENSOR .

9. Also, the app is not in conformity with Android 8+ requirements of background use and the user gets warned that it may be using unnecessary power.this used to work OK, although sometimes was a bit moody when accessing remotely.

10. It's very disappointing, to be honest.The internationalization (in particular, to Portuguese, but possibly other languages with the Latin alphabet with diacritics) is lacking in a number of ways... The letters that would have accents appear only as question marks.

11. I use this camera to view my downstairs in case of an intruder.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix V380S Issues

1. Fix V380S Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "V380S" » Open V380S » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for V380S » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear V380S app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from V380S servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "V380S" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check V380S app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, V380S might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall V380S. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall V380S then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing V380S not working


2. Fix V380S Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make V380S be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to V380S not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, V380S may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
