1. Going back to the previous version of the app, 1.1.1.854, using unofficial means fixes this issue.My 5 yr old son loves this app! He starts kindergarten in the fall & I thought this would help him with both learning to use a tablet & with things he may not have learned in pre-k.

2. We're 3 "adventures" away from starting the kindergarten series & he's excited every time! He loves getting the collection pieces as a reward, but was a little disappointed he couldn't use it with his character.The app keeps freezing after I su scribed to the app.

3. I don't like the fact that it kept restarting the game and if they fix the bugs I feel like it would be a great program for a little children to learn on but other than that as of now I would not recommend this app.Loved it when it worked the first 2 days.

4. I think the premise is very good, but the technical issues are a deal breaker.I would give this 5 stars because I really like the learning programs that are on it however ,it kept freezing and I had only installed it within 20 minutes of my son playing it.

5. Also that you pay a monthly fee makes me wonder if it's going to be worth it if it doesn't work for days at a time.This is a horrible app.

6. The Learning Path is easy for him to navigate, he absolutely loves the games, & he now (at 4) can easily recognize all his colors, shapes, patterns, and numbers.

7. The separate section of Games/Puzzles etc is NOT synced to your kids level.*Update* On 1/20/23, activities began to fail to load with the old 854 version.

8. I'm anticipating that I'll adjust my review rating once /if it starts working again, however, I'm very disappointed that I purchased a tablet specifically for this app and it already has problems 3 days in.

9. I am frustrated because I paid the monthly fee for a subscription thinking this would be a great learning tool for my daughter.

10. Leappad has the fun map interface, but otherwise, Starfall is superior.My son first started playing this game when he was almost 3 on the Epic.

1. Fix LeapFrog Academy Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart LeapFrog Academy: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the LeapFrog Academy App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "LeapFrog Academy" » Open LeapFrog Academy™ Learning » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for LeapFrog Academy » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear LeapFrog Academy™ Learning app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from LeapFrog Academy servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "LeapFrog Academy™ Learning" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check LeapFrog Academy app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, LeapFrog Academy might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall LeapFrog Academy. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall LeapFrog Academy then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing LeapFrog Academy not working

2. Fix LeapFrog Academy Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make LeapFrog Academy be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to LeapFrog Academy not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, LeapFrog Academy may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
