5. When a suspicious message is detected from an unknown sender, a notification is automatically sent to our backend server, and a “Purple Alert” notification is generated to notify people you have designated as a Favorite in your Contacts List.

6. The notifications sent to your Contacts and to us at include the original SMS or MMS message content, as well as the date and time, approximate location of your device, and Caller Identification of the sender.

7. Gabriel® loads your SMS/MMS on the device and not on our servers to determine which message to analyze.

8. Use Gabriel® to block pesky calls, detect spam SMS messages, avoid fraud numbers/spoof calls, and protect your friends and family.

9. Purple Alerts notifications are sent from your device to our server and the Contacts you have selected to receive notifications.

10. Although it is impossible to block new numbers that don't have a history of making spam calls, we’ve already identified over two billion Caller IDs that may be used in spoofing scams and block them from ringing your phone.

11. Gabriel uses real-time information provided by users to determine which calls and SMS messages are dangerous.

12. An optional registration is included to redeem reward points, perform automated complaint filing, and register your phone in Do Not Call lists.

13. The message content and notifications are stored in our PlayFab server for up to three years and then destroyed.
