1. Delete Harmonicity Meter Account through Email

There are 2 methods to get your data (and account) deleted by Harmonicity Meter:

1. Under GDPR: EU/UK Residents have the right to ask (via email), an organization that holds data about them to delete it. This is known as the ‘right to erasure’. Organizations have one month to respond to the request.


2. Under CCPA: California residents have the right to request that a company delete the data/personal information it has on them. A failure to comply with this will result in a fine of upto $7,500.

2. How to Delete Harmonicity Meter on Iphone

1. On iphone, Goto "Settings "
2. Click on "General" » "Iphone Storage".
3. Select the app, and click "Delete Harmonicity Meter".

1. Go to your Android phone Settings.
2. Click on "Apps & Games".
3. Select "Harmonicity Meter" and Click "Uninstall".

1. Harmonicity is a measure of the sound energy in the harmonics relative to the rest of the spectrum.

2. Whilst lower jitter and shimmer values indicate a purer sound.

3. Jitter is a measure of the frequency variation of the sound.

4. Higher harmonicity values indicate a purer sound.

5. This will continue until the sound is stopped at which point the last 0.7s of data is removed from the averaged values.

6. The fast fourier transform (size 8192) is performed on the last 0.74s of data to produce a frequency spectrum (0 to 5.5 kHz with 1.35Hz resolution).

7. Averaging - After 0.7s, the app will start averaging the Harmonicity, Jitter, Shimmer and freqency values.

8. Shimmer is a measure of the amplitude variation of the sound.

9. This meter is supposed to be used with a continuous consistent sound, e.g. Pronoucing a vowel, or a tone from a speaker/instrument.

10. Musical Note – The current detected frequency is converted into a note based on western 12 tone equal temperament.

11. Measure the Harmonic to Noise Ratio (Harmonicity) from your microphone.
