1. Delete HSL Account through Email

There are 2 methods to get your data (and account) deleted by HSL - tickets & route planner:

1. Under GDPR: EU/UK Residents have the right to ask (via email), an organization that holds data about them to delete it. This is known as the ‘right to erasure’. Organizations have one month to respond to the request.


2. Under CCPA: California residents have the right to request that a company delete the data/personal information it has on them. A failure to comply with this will result in a fine of upto $7,500.

Alternatively, you can follow these steps below to get HSL to delete your account/data:

1. To delete your HSL account, contact HSL via email and provide the reasons for your request.
2. Mention the law under which you make your request (GDPR or CCPA).
3. Notify HSL of the penalty for non-compliance - A $7,500 fine under CCPA and 4% of annual turnover under GDPR.

2. How to Delete HSL on Iphone

1. On iphone, Goto "Settings "
2. Click on "General" » "Iphone Storage".
3. Select the app, and click "Delete HSL - tickets & route planner".

3. Delete HSL on Android phone

1. Go to your Android phone Settings.
2. Click on "Apps & Games".
3. Select "HSL - tickets & route planner" and Click "Uninstall".

1. With the HSL app you can buy tickets for Helsinki region public transport, find the best routes and get targeted traffic information.

2. In the HSL app you will find e.g. single, day and season tickets for both adults and children.

3. Journey planner tells you e.g. the best route and the ticket, which is needed for the route.

4. In addition to tickets, there is also a journey planner in the HSL app.

5. In the HSL app, you can also see up-to-date transport information for the areas and lines you have selected.

6. Bus, train, metro, tram and ferry – all with the same app.

7. You can pay easily e.g. with a payment card.

• Please delete my account completely. It was created during my visit at Helsinki in 2019. I am not able to login on my iPhone app. If I ask for a new password I do not receive the appropriate email from HSL.
