There are 2 methods to get your data (and account) deleted by WIMKIN:

1. Under GDPR: EU/UK Residents have the right to ask (via email), an organization that holds data about them to delete it. This is known as the ‘right to erasure’. Organizations have one month to respond to the request.


2. Under CCPA: California residents have the right to request that a company delete the data/personal information it has on them. A failure to comply with this will result in a fine of upto $7,500.

• I am vehemently requesting that my Wimkin account be deleted. I joined for professional reasons with the intention of increasing my brand as a writer. Started out to be a pleasant experience but then more and more connections began hitting on me. I have been asked for my phone number, my email address and wanting me to join WhatsApp so "we can get to know one another better". I have stated more than once that I am not on Wimkin for personal reasons but professional and that I don't talk about my personal life. It's not being respected. Even had a connection say that they were a private person "and that's why we should get to know each other better". I have contacted Jason Sheppard about this and he didn't seem to care. All he told me to do was to change my privacy settings without giving me the option to delete my account as I requested. I have emailed him again about this once again but have not heard back. I have had enough! I want out of Wimkin! I want my account deleted! And I assure I WILL NOT be recommend this network to any one!
