  • I want to delete my account because I am no longer using piZap. According to databreach.es, in approximately December 2017, the online photo editing site piZap suffered a data breach. The data was later placed up for sale on a dark web marketplace along with a collection of other data breaches in February 2019. A total of 42 million unique email addresses were included in the breach alongside names, genders and links to Facebook profiles when the social media platform was used to authenticate to piZap. This news might affected me as I am once a piZap user and I don't want my data to be exposed anymore. Under CCPA - California Consumer Privacy Act: This empowers California residents to request that a business delete the data/personal information it has on me. The business is legally required to delete the consumer's personal information from its records and direct any service providers to delete the data too. Failure of a business to comply with the CCPA can result in fines of up to $7,500 per violation. The penalty for non-compliance is $7,500 fine under CCPA and 4% of annual turnover under GDPR
