2. Original review: Getting better After trying to install this app at the gate which is a thousand feet from the router, even with good Wi-Fi, I decided to uninstall and bring it inside and configure it inside... that got the firmware update to install.

3. App works fine except for notifications, which on 3 different Samsung phones I've tested only get delivered once the screen is unlocked or after a long period of time.

4. So they can know exactly when I open and close it.Star reduced for (1) always asking for google home code - which I don;t have but I still have to enter 6 0's (2) when setting up a guest it doesn;t email the password to the user ..seems a bit dumb.

5. Connected the two wires to my gate controller and everything seems to be fine for me, I've just given a guest pass to my wife to try out tomorrow and we'll see how that worksWorks perfectly fine as it should.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix iSmartgate Access Issues

1. Fix iSmartgate Access Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart iSmartgate Access: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the iSmartgate Access App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "iSmartgate Access" » Open iSmartgate Access » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for iSmartgate Access » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear iSmartgate Access app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from iSmartgate Access servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "iSmartgate Access" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check iSmartgate Access app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, iSmartgate Access might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall iSmartgate Access. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall iSmartgate Access then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing iSmartgate Access not working


2. Fix iSmartgate Access Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make iSmartgate Access be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to iSmartgate Access not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, iSmartgate Access may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
