1. but still not much informative.Went to look for a single family home first it said error then after i did it again gave me only apartments when the houses finally came up there was no pictures to view what it looked like.. not a good app when looking for a houseThe app is ok.

2. This app might be good for looking for apartments, but that's not what I'm using it for.The algorithm doesn't display results for filtered parameters.

3. Be prepared to waste time further filtering through options AFTER you've set your filter options.This app use to work fine and was great to look up rentals but starting around December 2022 it completely stopped working.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Rentals Issues

1. Fix Rentals Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Rentals: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Rentals App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Rentals" » Open Rentals by Homes.com 🏡 » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Rentals » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Rentals by Homes.com 🏡 app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Rentals servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Rentals by Homes.com 🏡" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Rentals app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Rentals might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Rentals. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Rentals then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Rentals not working


2. Fix Rentals Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Rentals be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Rentals not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Rentals may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
