1. Incredibly buggy wifi with the cm20 bridge, and a tiresome config process I've had to repeat oh so many times because of bugs .Ocassional disconnects of blinds from the bridge and/or wifi.

2. although entered correct password it keeps saying pass is invalidMight be too simple, neighbors garage door opener runs my blinds up and down randomly.New hub and blinds.

3. The user security controls are super overbearing so that only the person who set them up has the ability to set routines, rename, or modify the blinds.

4. Sometimes it works the next day by itself, sometimes I need to delete and add the blinds in the app again.Position setup needs your password.

5. I spent 3k on motorized blinds and this app and wifi bridge are utterly useless.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Motion Blinds Issues

1. Fix Motion Blinds Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Motion Blinds: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Motion Blinds App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Motion Blinds" » Open Motion Blinds » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Motion Blinds » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Motion Blinds app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Motion Blinds servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Motion Blinds" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Motion Blinds app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Motion Blinds might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Motion Blinds. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Motion Blinds then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Motion Blinds not working


2. Fix Motion Blinds Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Motion Blinds be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Motion Blinds not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Motion Blinds may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
