1. Delete Nexo Account through Email

There are 2 methods to get your data (and account) deleted by Nexo: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto:

Under GDPR: EU/UK Residents have the right to ask (via email), an organization that holds data about them to delete it. This is known as the ‘right to erasure’. Organizations have one month to respond to the request.

Under CCPA: California residents have the right to request that a company delete the data/personal information it has on them. A failure to comply with this will result in a fine of upto $7,500.

Now we understand what the Law says, Here is how to handle the account data deletion request:

To delete your Nexo account, contact Nexo via email and provide the reasons for your request.
Mention the law under which you make your request (GDPR or CCPA).
Notify Nexo of the penalty for non-compliance - A $7,500 fine under CCPA and 4% of annual turnover under GDPR.

2. How to Delete Nexo on Iphone

On iphone, Goto "Settings "
Click on "General" » "Iphone Storage".
Select the app, and click "Delete Nexo: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto".

3. Delete Nexo on Android phone

Go to your Android phone Settings.
Click on "Apps & Games".

Hello, I’m requesting you that I want my account deleted for personal reasons, I have not used the wallet nor I have on it. I just want to close it for good. According to the law: The business is legally required to delete the consumer's personal information from its records and direct any service providers to delete the data too. Failure of a business to comply with the CCPA can result in fines of up to $7,500 per violation.

Good Morning,

My name is Eric Osborne. I am a new account holder with you all, however, I do plan to switch over to another crypto broker platform. The reason being that I cannot get in contact with any representative from your company. I sent a request a week ago and been told that I would need to wait a week for a response. I gotten a response back but it stated that I would need to wait for a month or two to hear back. I dont have time to wait for that, plus, this pending feedback is restricting me from depositing on your platform.

So I plan to switch over to another platform. I request that my data/account be deleted under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

This law entails that a business is legally required to delete consumer's personal information from its records and direct any service providers to delete the data too.

Failure to comply with the CCPA will result in a PENALTY - $7,500 fine under CCPA.

Please be mindful of this penalty for non-compliance. I would need to have my account/data be deleted, along with my email (contact information) ASAP!
