Walking App Customer Insights

1. I like seeing my progress with the current set-up, but it isn't truly accurate if it doesnt give the option to continue recording the route beyond the pre-chosen time period.This app is motivating in the sense that it tracks, records, and archives your walks and shows how many miles you've walked since day one, as well as calories burned.

2. I walked 1.04 miles in 30 minutes one day and 1.11 in 35 minutes another and it said I burned more calories on the 30 min day.Be careful with bank account! i loved the free app, but when ads became a deterrent I purchased a month's trial, since it was only 4.99. I figured I would try it for a month and see from there.

3. I like that the workouts are timed, but I would have rated this higher if the app continued to record the distance & calories burned if/when you go past the time limit for the workout.

4. I walked 4 miles, but it did not record the whole walk because the predetermined "workout" was only 30 minutes.

5. I have no idea how it calculates calories burned because it didn't record the full distance (typically only 1km recurred of a 2.2k walk).

6. "day 13-walk" "rest day" "day 14-walk." Will look for better app that counts rest days as actual days.Took subscription payment and was not clear that it was free for so long.

7. I downloaded app but haven't been able to use as I broke my leg!!!! However it was not clear when I downloaded that it was a trial so I had £17.99 taken from my account this month.

8. Customization (level, reminders, etc) are good; tracks routes well, gives robotic but helpful encouragement and didn't have a problem with crashing.

9. The only issue is that occasionally it lose GPS signal, and even once it gets the GPS signal back it quits tracking my speed/pace and doesn't update the number.

10. Also, it sometimes tries to count car rides when calculating the number of steps taken.

11. There should be an option to put it in "car mode" so it temporarily stops tracking steps until you turn it back on.I don't really see much difference in the pro version vs.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Walking App Issues

1. Fix Walking App Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Walking App - Lose Weight App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Walking App app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Walking App might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Walking App. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Walking App then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Walking App not working


2. Fix Walking App Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Walking App be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Walking App not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Walking App may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I would like to cancel my subscription to Slimkit walking app. I was charged $13.99 and when I go to subscriptions on my IPhone it is not there. I don't want to be charged again so please cancel my subscription.
