EyeCloud Customer Insights

1. Motion detection notification is a little slow because the player isn't loaded in real-time, so by the time you get the notification to see who's walking past, they've already gone.Everything had been working quiet well, but since the most recent firmware update, the camera are turning off and back on again every few minutes.

2. The camera itself is excellent, but the software has changed drastically and not for the good! Used to be easy to access events (I want motion activated only); there was an alarm notice to my phone instantly; no cloud storage bs; software was easy to use, not all these sub-menus.

3. Nice to see there has been bug fixes though, binding an email finally works, camera is kept in correct time.

4. This is very annoying as the camera physically clicks quite loudly when switching to and from night mode, sometimes waking up el child.Edit: This app has been updated and is sooooo much better in every way.

5. The app was amended again, and with a remote reboot of the camera, it's all working again.👍 scrub that, it's not connecting! Update.

6. The app MAY connect to the camera and when it does you MAY be able to control the camera position, but don't hold your hopes up.

7. Total waste of time and moneyWell, it was working very well until this latest update, but now it doesn't connect at all.

8. As the camera is over 50 miles away, I will need to find time to reinstall it.

9. Otherwise it works OK, but video freezes quite abit.. Wish there was another option to use with my camera.

10. Good baby/person monitor and communicating device.The performance of the app and camera is hopeless.

11. Its clunky, it freezes, the camera controls suck when they do work, it is always logging me out.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix EyeCloud Issues

1. Fix EyeCloud Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart EyeCloud: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the EyeCloud App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "EyeCloud" » Open EyeCloud » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for EyeCloud » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear EyeCloud app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from EyeCloud servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "EyeCloud" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check EyeCloud app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, EyeCloud might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall EyeCloud. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall EyeCloud then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing EyeCloud not working


2. Fix EyeCloud Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make EyeCloud be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to EyeCloud not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, EyeCloud may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

    Il u à quelques années que j’utilise eyeclaud avec une camera de surveillance et j’etait tres content. Depuis 3 mois la camera ne m’envoie plus des notifications sur mon iphone. Elle m’envoie des mail de détection de mouvement et elle est connecté parfaitement. Les alertes sont bien cochées dans le logiciel.
    Pouvez vous m’aider de résoudre ce problème?
