Will get more stars when app is fixed.downloaded the app but cant get past the profile page.. keep choosing a profile and keeps taking me to the edit profile page.. definalty wouldve gotten more stars if it actually workedThe quality of movies are excellent, but they don't have any sound on my android TV box.Video quality great, there is a problem with the voices, background sound is fine.I love this app when you use with a high end device it does some things that I won't mention here.Won't let me select a profile after I sign in.

2. crashes,unreliable,keeps buffering the company says it's the internet provided but it's not,TV Guide doesn't sync,TV Guide titles are missing on many of the channelsHas been by far the best service I have ever had.

3. Works fine on Chromecast with occasional freezes when watching for an extended period of time but refreshes on exit out and back in.keeps freezing all the time.

4. It's real they will set up your service right away.As of now I cannot select profile as others have mentioned.

5. Keyboard never opens when clicking in the search bar, and when scrolling through the lists it doesn't actually scroll far then resets back to the beginning so you can't actually navigate.

6. Please fix, otherwise what's the use of subscribing.🤷🏻 ♂️I have used a number of IPTV services over my last 10 years of being a cord cutter, and needless to say this will be my last and only one.

7. It just goes to the option to edit the profile when a profile is clicked.

8. Works fine on my fire stick and iPhone but not on my Samsung tablet.

9. And I must say, the one thing that I love the most is how they keep making improvements constantly.

10. And if you're having second thoughts because of the way the payment system is through zelle, trust me its not a scam.

11. The app doesn't work well on the phone.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Startup Show TV Issues

1. Fix Startup Show TV Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Startup Show TV: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Startup Show TV App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Startup Show TV" » Open Startup Show TV » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Startup Show TV » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Startup Show TV app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Startup Show TV servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Startup Show TV" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Startup Show TV app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Startup Show TV might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Startup Show TV. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Startup Show TV then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Startup Show TV not working


2. Fix Startup Show TV Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Startup Show TV be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Startup Show TV not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Startup Show TV may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I'm missing several sports channels (5 sports; one sports etc, these are Israeli sports channels). They don't appear anymore on live/guide indexes.
    I trued to remove and reinstall which did not help. When i press one of them from my "last" or favorites, it's says to try again later. This has been like this for the past week.

  • The latest update takes me to a what's new screen. It won't allow me to cancel without scrolling the 3 pages.
    After the 3rd page there is a blank bar at the bottom of the page which normally allows me to proceed: this does not happen.
    I've restarted my device - still won't go past welcome pages.

    This is happening on both my Apple tv as well as my iPhone.

    I tried to delete startup show from my Apple tv, but it no longer appears in thy list of apps in the app store - I can't download and reinstall!

  • Since you did the update (yesterday 9 Dec 2022) I can’t close the app update introduction page (which says “Introducing a big update Change Log”). When I press
    “Close” in the top right corner, it immediately reopens. It is the same for my phone and Apple TV. Unfortunately I can’t use the app now. Would appreciate a fix on this ASAP. Thanks

  • Hello,

    I've emailed three times about this issue and received a curt reply the first time saying "no one is on your account." and no reply the following two times I emailed. Someone without permission and not in my household is on my account. They've deleted profiles, changed names on profiles, added/deleted things from lists, and now this person has added two new profiles to my account, as well as taking over/renaming my main account. I am extremely upset about this as the app is quite expensive and I've had no support on this issue. Hopefully we can resolve this matter ASAP whether that be myself receiving a new login, this unauthorized user being removed from my profile (and blocked from using my profile), whatever it may be. I will appreciate your swift response in this concerning matter.

    My common law partner passed away on May 3. He had ordered and installed Startip on our tv. We loved it so much. I love it. Can’t live without it and would like to continue using it.   • I'm running an older version of Startup show because the latest version will not let me use my mouse. when I try to use the mouse on the new version I cannot page down. I have to go to the bottom of the page I'm on and click to hold that particular show and then page down to the next set of shows. This is pretty inconvenient and I wonder if you are going to rectify the problem.
