NoCable Customer Insights

1. This is a very good solution to the issue I had.Now since the ads started appearing this past couple of months, the guide doesn't show up over half the time! The ads do though, but no guide content!!! It says guide info loading then gives some crazy message.

2. I see I am not the only user experiencing issues with the tv guide since the update.When it's working it's good I really like it then but most of the time it tells me I don't have a internet connection when I do have the internet it's just a few feet away from the tv and my phone is still connected and I can get my netflix so the app is messed up.

3. just remember to reset zip and antenna options each time you set up ( like in RV use).The first time I installed this app it worked great for about a month.

4. On a regular basis it says "We are experiencing technical difficulties." Also instead of taking you straight to the TV Guide it reloads every time you open it.

5. Easy to use... Has complete information on channels....programs..networks and date and time.

6. I also like that it lists the number of the digital channel i get the station on vs just listing the name of the station.Doesn't work in all locations.

7. I didn't have internet when it was working great and also I did have the correct zip code in for my area.

8. Also guide freezes up sometimes leaving you stuck for several minutes at a time.

9. I recently got internet in my home and tried reinstalling the app but it still is not working😣 NEED TO FIX!!!Lists most OTA channels in my area, but not all.

10. The only negative for me is that when I tap on the screen icon it won't load completely the first time.

11. Would like to edit the list of channels displayed, either because I'm not interested in their lineup, or because There is no reception for a particular channel (even though the app says otherwise.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix NoCable Issues

1. Fix NoCable Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart NoCable: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the NoCable App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "NoCable" » Open NoCable - OTA Antenna & TV Guide App » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for NoCable » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear NoCable - OTA Antenna & TV Guide App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from NoCable servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "NoCable - OTA Antenna & TV Guide App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check NoCable app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, NoCable might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall NoCable. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall NoCable then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing NoCable not working


2. Fix NoCable Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make NoCable be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to NoCable not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, NoCable may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • need to cancel tv guide. please cancel and then that will allow me to re enter and able to view correct tv guide. (Does not recognize password and will not reset)

  • Please cancel tv listing...Will not open...want to delete entirely and then I will register a new account....This must be deleted first to allow me to proceed
