Paytm Customer Insights

1. 😡I have been auto logged out from Paytm and I'm unable to login again, it says old version not supported, update your App, when I'm going to google Play store, it doesn't give me option to update, it says Open, but still I'm unable to login, please look into it ASAP.

I would give them 0 stars.Recently i booked a ticket which was not confirmed and after waiting for two days i didn't get the refund of unconfirmed ticket for which i paid, also there is no option from Paytm in Help & Support system for refund on unconfirmed ticket and none of those options we're helpful nor they have any customer care support that can be used to direct contact to solve the issue.

3. It's been 2 days since I have been logged out from Paytm and currently using Phonepe platform for transactions.

4. When so many people are complaining about it, why don't you take quick & effective steps to sort out the issueUnable to login after being forcefully logged out by Paytm.

5. It's a scam and fraud, I'm using Paytm from 2019 and this is how they treat their long time customer!The Paytm app has stopped working since a week.

6. Update : The issue has been resolved now.I opened a ticket regarding a refund for a bus ride that was cancelled about two weeks back.

7. Such a pathetic experience! I mean how can one change the account details without notifying the user.if you use a rooted phone, don't update it.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Paytm Issues

1. Fix Paytm Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Paytm: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Paytm App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Paytm" » Open Paytm: Secure UPI Payments » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Paytm » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Paytm: Secure UPI Payments app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Paytm servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Paytm: Secure UPI Payments" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Paytm app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Paytm might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Paytm. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Paytm then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Paytm not working


2. Fix Paytm Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Paytm be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Paytm not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Paytm may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
