1. it's just playing some letters at me while putting them on screen? do I need to have my own pad of paper next to me? I should ideally be able to type in a text box in the app As it's playing? do I need to set up my own notes app in split screen or something? I see the "compare result" option show up after I hit stop, but there's hardly any explanation anywhereThe app has potential... but all it does is makes you listen to morse code, the same letters over and over, until you select a higher level and it adds another letter.
2. Only 3 characters per group! My target is to comfortably run between 35 and 45... I learned the wrong way over 40 years ago but with this app, i am relearning the right way: learn FAST right from the start if you want to avoid all the pitfalls that only learning using the correct method can provide.Love the audio attack/release built in.
3. Tried all the usual suspects including the well known PC based programs and ended up with this - the free version is great - I learnt half of the code this way.
4. Through regular practice sessions with this app I'm now proficient in sending and copying Morse code, something I've wanted to accomplish for thirty years.
5. ...this software is great, I am the weakest link in learning Morse code.
6. Other than that, I would say this app is perfect just as it is.I tried a lot of morse code apps.
7. Upgrading from 2 stars to 4.Love this Morse code training app.
8. One suggestion, add an option to display only one large character at a time during the sound.
9. The old version showed the character first, then the tone; the new version presents the tone, then the character.
10. I first downloaded it a couple of years ago and only use it while I'm on long drives to destinations where I don't need to use GPS nav (I've designed my use of the app so that is never unsafe while driving).Absolutely Excellent App.
11. The best feature about this one is you can set it to speak the letters to you after playing the code.
