1. I was able to include a compass superimposed on the navigation screen, it looks awesome and works great.Route calculations are way off based on boat data populated for speed & fuel.
2. I also don't like the fact that I have to pay for a USA&Canada version now for $25 when I'm not even fishing in Canada! Bring back the $15 for USA only option!Generally good app but doesn't have one of the most important features of any chart plotter: there is no MOB button on the main screen.
3. Sure, I can export my route to iNavX (on iOS) and let it run the Autopilot, but that defeats the intuitiveness of this app.I didn't like the display, the water depth numbers were too small and not adjustable.
4. However, for years I have pled with developers to make the integration time used for computing speed and direction longer then the present one or two seconds.
5. Every GPS position has an error, so at slow speeds you must integrate over longer periods of time for accuracy.I've enjoyed and have paid many years for this app because it is portable and I can use it anywhere I go.
6. Correction, I am using version 18.2 not 18.1 as I originally reported.I love so much about this app, but it feels light on the NMEA integration side.
7. What I dont like on this last update is how they got rid of one of the overlays! I forgot which one it was that I enjoyed using but it showed me a satellite imagery contour like image.
8. For now, I am using Marine Ways, simpler interface, numbers are easy to read, no in app purchases, and I didn't have to mess with anything to get it to be easy to view and use.
9. This appears to have started within the last two weeks after a feature was added for boat data (near, far, farthest etc.) proximity to shore.
10. I have been using Navionics for 7 years and it had always been smooth and fast until recent months in 2020.
11. Please fix it!To make this app perfect for me, I would like to see a compass enclosing the navigation cursor to be able to know my position relative to the magnetic north without having to look at my compass.
