1. As far as the new pricing goes, What a slap in the face.I am somewhat disappointed, when I first purchased my map it was reasonably priced, however now it is due for renewal it is almost 3 times the price, I am not sure I will renew as I feel I no longer trust the company! The company say the app is free, which it is! But they sting you with the maps, I feel this is dishonourable.Terrible update June 2022.

2. Do I need to buy a new version of the app for each region? Why does this version of the app not have a region? Do you need to buy different apps, then different maps and pay for a subscription at the same time? I don;t understand the purchase model.Needs update.

3. the gps positioning is quite accurate and has been usefull for me on Major Lakes.Why oh why does this otherwise brilliant app not have AIS ?! It works very well as a backup/handheld plotter but could be so much better with ais overlay and option to receive from internet or network etc.

4. Cannot see a price button asking me ti purchase the basic version, I assume that I have used the same account on my old phone.

5. I am using ver.18I installed this purely to write a review about the absolutely wonderful job navionics does at taking advantage of their consumers.

6. Then... After a few years navionics forced that in store app purchase into the free bs we have here.

7. I told him to follow the route as I did not realize that the update will change saved route.

8. How to retrieve tje old version of this app?Love this app but it leaves many large zip files on my phone as it gets updated.

9. What sucks about navionics is that I originally purchased as an in app purchase to compliment my Lowrance GPS system.

1. Fix Boating Marine & Lakes Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Boating Marine & Lakes: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Boating Marine & Lakes App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Boating Marine & Lakes" » Open Boating Marine & Lakes » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Boating Marine & Lakes » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Boating Marine & Lakes app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Boating Marine & Lakes servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Boating Marine & Lakes" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Boating Marine & Lakes app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Boating Marine & Lakes might not work.
