Abide Customer Insights

1. Daily meditations are great! Sooooo many emotion topics to choose from and a lot in each category as well! A variety of instrumental background music to choose from to help you while in your quiet time with The Lord! There's even a category for kids! Also an option to play by narrator!I used to really enjoy this app, but had to decrease to only 2 stars.

2. I LOVE IT!!!! I use it every night to sleep and it helps me to fall asleep faster and lessens my anxiety! You can adjust the length of time, i.e: you can have it play for 15mins, or loop it to play 30, 60, 90mins.

3. You can choose the length of time, the background music or sounds and an expanse of topics for any situation or need.

4. In addition the narrator asks questions giving no time to contemplate the question before going on to the next comment or question making the experience rushed.

5. 5🌟I love the mediations and the "bed time stories" my children go to sleep to them every night.

6. I constantly have to refresh and restore My subscription, because it basically forgets I have subscription so I have to go through the steps as if I want to subscribe for the first time, then it says there was an error because I have already subscribed, then it crashes and come back with my subscription.

7. I notice that you can no longer change the background music while listening to a mediation, you have to exit out of mediation and change which is annoying.

8. I skip over anything that is narrated by that narrator, and I love everything else.Great app, love it and would recommend it to other.

9. It sounds like a cell phone notification that keeps going off the entire time.

10. How do I get that notification sound to stop?Excellent app! It has expanded and deepened my relationship with the Lord! I feel more open and receptive to His guidance.

11. And on top of it top of it there's an irritating user interface change, where the app stops asking the duration before the session starts.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Abide Issues

1. Fix Abide Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Abide: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Abide App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Abide" » Open Abide: Christian Meditation » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Abide » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Abide: Christian Meditation app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Abide servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Abide: Christian Meditation" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Abide app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Abide might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Abide. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Abide then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Abide not working


2. Fix Abide Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Abide be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Abide not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Abide may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

    Have been waiting for the yearly subscription option to come but found this morning $60.99 had been taken from my account. I no longer want this subscription and have now unsubscribed.
    Would you kindly put monies taken back in my account.

  • Dear Christian friend,
    I had been waiting to be notified of renewal of this subscription.
    I found this morning $60.99 had been taken out my account. As I do not wish to continue with Abide
    I have cancelled my subscription but would like the amount of $60.99 to be reimbursed.
    Thank you for your spiritual support over the last couple of years.

    I can't get into my abide app to b use it and pay for thec1 year subscription. It puts up my old email Bradleybeavers1984@redacted. which I don't have access to any more because someone hacked into that email account.   • My app reset and I lost all my favorites and journal entries. Also it appears I lost my premium subscription. I cant access the longer meditations when i log on
