About DKN Cloud NA

1. The Airzone DKN Cloud NA app can control and monitor your Airzone DKN NA (american market) connected to Daikin air conditioning units (SkyAir and VRV)*.

2. Important: this app is not compatible with the Airzone DKN WServer device.

3. You will also be able to create schedules and invite users to control your unit. (*) Compatibility based on the Daikin indoor unit.

DKN Cloud NA Customer Insights

1. I don't think my guests could manage their room temperature without a training session😵 💫The app itself is somewhat intuitive however it constantly lets go of the separate units one-at-a-time randomly and it's constantly changing its set point temperature even when it's on a schedule it raises the temperature without me asking to whatever random temperature it wantsIt simply doesn't work well.

2. App should be updated to fix these issues more frequently.Even though the Ecobee is set up to override the Airzone, the Ecobee is forced out of it's schedule and into holding a seemingly random temp in the day and worse, at night, it simply turns the Ecobee off, making for cold winter nights.App is pretty good overall.

3. For some reason the DKN NA app set points override the schedule and set points that I have set up in Ecobee and there does not seem to be a way to turn off the set points in the DKN app which makes connecting it to a 3rd party thermostat redundant.

4. You actually need 2 separate apps to control daikin wall units and ceiling cassettes.

5. Tech support on the ecobee side has been great but impossible on the DKN NA side of things.Easy to setup.

6. Huge waste of moneyI have not bee able to get this app to work with an Ecobee Thermostat.

7. Extremely frustrating after being used to using an Ecobee or Nest thermostat with an Alexa.

8. I have had this issue with an Ecobee thermostat and a Madoka controller.

9. Pathetic.App randomly shuts down one or all of my units, this happens at least once a week.

10. Having to get up (especially in the middle of the night) and work my way thru the menu on the wall unit is a frustration.

11. And it is not compatible with all Daikin A/C units... another star off.As of 11/13/20 I can no longer log into the app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix DKN Cloud NA Issues

1. Fix DKN Cloud NA Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart DKN Cloud NA: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the DKN Cloud NA App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "DKN Cloud NA" » Open DKN Cloud NA » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for DKN Cloud NA » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear DKN Cloud NA app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from DKN Cloud NA servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "DKN Cloud NA" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check DKN Cloud NA app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, DKN Cloud NA might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall DKN Cloud NA. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall DKN Cloud NA then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing DKN Cloud NA not working


2. Fix DKN Cloud NA Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make DKN Cloud NA be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to DKN Cloud NA not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, DKN Cloud NA may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
