My Family Customer Insights

1. I'm only using this app because the GPS app I wanted to use with my family isn't compatible with my brother's phone.If we install, it is showing 7 days free trail , but asking account details, I don't want like this.

2. Honestly not worth the 1 star and the money.Only things I don't like is that I have to open the app on my family's phones after a turn off/restart for the app to become active again and update locations.

3. A way to upload pictures to my family group and a better option to add places, as of now every site I add is named as "job" to my family members even when I have it named as "House".Having downloaded this app.

4. Dispite this funds have been takennfrom my account on an ongoing basis until I cancelled my bank account and managed to notify Google to also cancel the subscription.

5. It is not fair for me and my time waste.Took $100 dollars out of my family's account after a 1 nearly 2 weeks after using testing it.

6. Sometimes it says things like 13 min ago or 5 min ago.. wish it would constantly track or allow me to refresh! Not worth paying for, to me, without those featuresI deleted the app after I installed it.

7. I highly recommend ultimatehacks707 gmail com for you todayIt's good, I would like to be able to get on street level when viewing someone's location, as well as having a turn off/on button.

8. I also wish I could refresh the location of my family members rather than waiting for an update.

9. I would like my funds back.While advertising the add, it doesnt tell us to install the apps on other phones, it shows you to directly dial the phone no.

10. I was able to track my spouse's with a remote invisible tracker installed on my device to track spouse's phone.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix My Family Issues

1. Fix My Family Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart My Family: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the My Family App. Here is how:

    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for My Family » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear My Family - Family Locator app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from My Family servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "My Family - Family Locator" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check My Family app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, My Family might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall My Family. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall My Family then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing My Family not working


2. Fix My Family Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make My Family be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to My Family not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, My Family may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
