1. Upon minutes of using this app, I find out that it's extremely annoying signing up to this thing, it's flooded with spam bots, the ads are horrible and in-your-face, the user interface is awful and complicated, and worse of all, YOU CAN'T FILTER OUT ALL THE DUDES ON THERE! The dudes and their inappropriate pics.

2. Korean is not exactly a language that shows up in my zip code's census demographic information, so I can only believe that these people are either fake or located elsewhere and faked as being local.Quick turn around for a bug fix that I posted about a few days ago.

3. I have enough problems as a tall girl, I don't need my neighbors to think I'm a man because your app made a mistake.Suspicious. Going by this app, there is a huge Korean-speaking enclave within 1km of me, and no one speaks English.

4. (I'm definitely a girl lol, this photo here on my Google account is just Heechul) I tried to correct it, but there seemed to be nowhere I could change it.

5. Error message entirely unhelpful.***SCAMMER ALERT*** Asks for unnecessary permissions and the terms of service are written in a different language.

6. Made account yesterday but now stuck on signup page which I cannot complete because the app needs me to upload a photo but there is no longer an upload photo option.

7. Just updated the app and it works well!!I would love to have used this app, but unfortunatly it has an error when I try to make an ID, just saying 'ID should have 4 to 18 letters/digits'... Well my ID had 4, so I tried 5,no change.

8. Asking for username and then not accepting it, saying 4-18 characters alphanum, which I have tried different types and still same issue.

9. This has connected me to different people free of cost, its rescent update has fixed all the bugs.Won't even let me join.

10. This app is designed for scanning people otherwise the permissions would make sense and everything would be in english.

1. Fix 1km Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart 1km: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the 1km App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "1km" » Open 1km - Make a Friend around you » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for 1km » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear 1km - Make a Friend around you app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from 1km servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "1km - Make a Friend around you" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check 1km app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, 1km might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall 1km. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall 1km then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing 1km not working

2. Fix 1km Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make 1km be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to 1km not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, 1km may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
