Bolt Driver Customer Insights

1. My driver score is 100% and acceptance rate is 98%.The app is functioning very well but your condition that when a rider cancels ❌ ride on their own it goes against the driver,it still hasn't gone down well with me,you can drive and get to someone's location and the person cancels on you and on top of the fraustrations you went through to get to the person's location and the person cancelled on you is not enough in the app too bolt will further frustrate you with their finish rate issue mean while you make effort to pick the person etcUsing Bolt driver has been an utmost pleasure but I'm very concerned about the safety.

2. In the area of showing wrong pricing, pickup distance location, time.This new update is the worst of them all...can you imagine I was on a campaign with a minimum finishing rate of 65% ..... My finishing rate dropped from 100% to 55% after my first trip even though I accepted and arrived at the pick up point and started the trip, drove all the way to the exact destination.

3. Now it just displayed "some error has occurred try again" for days!! I've cleared caches, force stopped and reversed everything to factory settings still not been able to work because of this, fix this! The car navigation on its android is way better than the phone which is rather distracting.The app is a complete mess, It's always malfunctioning whenever I get a ride, then I'll have to uninstall and reinstall before it can function transitorilly, then continues again In the same vain.

4. I think a driver must have the mandate to add stops; in order to bring fairness.The app is not perfect in the sence the driver does not have a choice than to accept every trip that comes to him or her,for instance I'm on a trip another request comes in when I have not ended the ongoing trip.

5. You get a request that is far from you and you don't accept it will spoil your activity score or there's an error from the rider's side and there's cancellation, it will also spoil your activity score or driver score,.

6. ThanksI've been having issues logging in after updating all my apps and the car android operating system but bolt driver app suddenly stopped working after weeks of use.

7. With this situation the rider's are always cancelling, thereby making your driver's score drop.please adjust this in particular.

8. The finishing rate kept reducing further down even though I had not received any more requests....... Also from 6am to 11am I had only received just one trip even though I was online.

9. It's easy for a passenger to register where as it's very difficult for a driver to register because of all the documents that has to be added.

10. What you are literally doing is forcing drivers to accept all trip request of which you know that is not possible.

1. Fix Bolt Driver Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Bolt Driver: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Bolt Driver App. Here is how:

  3. Clear Bolt Driver: Drive & Earn app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Bolt Driver servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Bolt Driver: Drive & Earn" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Bolt Driver app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Bolt Driver might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Bolt Driver. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Bolt Driver then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Bolt Driver not working


2. Fix Bolt Driver Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Bolt Driver be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
