1. Right now, it's so busy trying to get me to pay for the CLOUD storage so the program is ate up with terrible picture that freezea up, and volume that's a good 12 seconds behind actual video, kinda like a bad Chinese movie! No customer support either!I have 3 camera's (the small ones that sit on a desktop or such), and all the time, at least 2 are marked as offline.

2. Every time I have to go into settings to turn it off, just annoying This app keeps asking for permissions,no way to turn that off.il If you don't want notifications turn on you'll have to deal with pop ups every timevl you use it Update Since the dev responded with a claim that you can turn off ads, that setting keeps getting reverted every few weeks.At the very best, this is one of the absolute worse apps I have on my phone.

3. Works but very restrictive, your able to use the app without logging in, but your smart phone has to be on the destination network and trying to set these up at my work place is problematic as my work doesn't allow smartphones on the network.

4. It woujld be nice to have full ONVIF function made available.I have ordered 3 of the home cameras, and bought the subscription for the cloud and they all work very well.

5. Since last time checking my cameras a few days ago now when I go to events it says there aren't any... And that events are only in cloud storage.

6. This seems to vary - when using my phone, most of the cameras are normally offline.

7. Will for sure continue to purchase and use these cameras/this app.Avoid like the... Why show an ad every time you open the app? This is an app for people who bought hardware and these ads make annoying to use.

8. Thank you.) Works good, is not a super user friendly system but is very usable and cameras cheap.

9. They have been saved on the local SD card for a long time now and usually work fairly well.

10. Is rained today and the network went out and i could not pull the video up on my phone but I'm sure that's more so Verizon and not the product.

11. These cameras are suppose to be used for inside and i often times have mine outside and they still work great.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix iCSee Issues

1. Fix iCSee Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart iCSee: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the iCSee App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "iCSee" » Open iCSee » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for iCSee » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear iCSee app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from iCSee servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "iCSee" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check iCSee app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, iCSee might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall iCSee. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall iCSee then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing iCSee not working


2. Fix iCSee Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make iCSee be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to iCSee not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, iCSee may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I think something happened with your server
    Last night at 1 AM everything worked fine and playing back video clips from alerts
    After 1 AM, I stopped receiving alerts
    And when I go to check video clips
    It shows a picture of a broken camera and says no video clips
    Though I’ve played these video clips before this is now happening on all four of my cameras

  • Hi. Using ICSee for few years now. Never had a problem. But since i have s23 samsung i cant get it to run in background and no notifications are coming up. I have all permissions turned on. It was working on my samsung s8.

  • Hi, have problem with notification when app is closed, notification button is off for 3 sec and automaticly going on when logging. Phone is xperia 5 v android 14 use latest beta update from 18.01.2024 but with old version is the same.Try to reinstall the app but is the same. Please help. Thanks

    Just trying to do 2 things. firstly add iCSee camera to alexa... I get an error 414 is this perhaps country locked? I'm in NZ. Secondly trying to add iCSee cameras to VMS lite. I've entered the serial number as the cloud ID and my iCSee login details for the username and password. Does it only work with an active cloud subscription? Even if we could find the IP numbers of the cameras it would be great. They seem to be very much locked into only working with iCSee :(

  • I purchased the iCsee Pro app and I agreed to the Service Agreement Several times and it's still showing everytime I open the app on my iphone.
    It is also displaying Google Adds and I have no way to turn them off.
    I paid for the Pro app not for Advertisementss You need to fix these problems.

  • I have been using your service for a couple years on one of my cameras. I tried to put it on my other camera. I tried to use paypal. Every time I tried to pay it said it didn't work. I did this three times and didn't think it worked. I checked my email later and found out all three payments went through. I got in touch with paypal and canceled two of the payments. Now they took my cloud service off both of my cameras. The one I was trying to get cloud service on and the one I have had service on for couple years. My user name is classic96c. Now I am paying for two services and not getting any.

  • Hi I have changed the location of my wifi camera slightly and it won't reconnect. I have used the QR code in front of the camera. It tells me it's connecting to the router and to wait.   • Hi, I purchased one of you smart wifi cams through wish and received it February 22nd. It caused a fire 🔥luckily outside and I saw it. I ha e another camera and love it. I would like very much if you would send me a new power supply. The camera is fi e I checked with the good one. Just the circuit board on the power supply burned. I cN send pics if you like or mail it to you so you could make something safer in the future. Will ypu do this for me. If you need to send another camera that would be great I could have parts.     I have a ICSEE CAMERA that has malfunctioned on several occasions.
    I have used your cameras in my offices and have been extremely happy with the performance of the camera.
    I have Exhausted All known remedies for the malfunctioning camera (both from my own experience as well as the Iinstructions as well as other customer trouble shooting scenarios)
