WiFi Analyzer (open-source) Customer Insights

1. It doesn't even delete history if you switch *apps* and background this one, but erases all history data the moment you switch to the devices tab.Precisely what I needed- I was greeted with a useful onboarding message on how to disable Wifi throttling, and why device location was needed.

2. This one is far better than the other one because there are no ads and it seems to work better but it does not detect everything.Used to download far farproc's WiFi Analyzer on every Android but just got an S9 (2021) and its OS has become a bit less friendly ("more secure").

3. I can leave a building with WiFi and 20 minutes later it still shows the access points that I'm no longer near.I have used this app for years across many Android tablets and phones, and it still works great for viewing all WiFi access points in the vicinity.

4. Most of all no annoying ads intruding over the screen like the other app of similar name.Works but can be inaccurate sometimes Edit: I still gave 5 stars because every app like this can be inaccurate and inconsistent simply because of how wifi channels work.

5. It's excellent, very quick on my rooted and debloated moto Z2 Force on stock android 8.0.0 -- I rated 4 rather than 5 because I'm in info systems and have seen (very expensive, not open source) software! This would get five stars except that it doesn't detect everything.

6. Its not really the app's fault, but maybe in the future you guys can work around this core networking element so the results are more consistent and accurate, regardless of the wifi channel you are using.

7. :DI kept this app over others because I was looking for a replacement for a discontinued one that had a signal history feature and even let you sort devices by "time first seen".

8. It works great, has options to show results in chart form by channel and number of connections on each along with signal strength and another graphically presented.

9. (Shame that you have to type extra words to find this gem, as all manner of advertised junk with the sound turned on (!), will jump on you first otherwise.)Attempted to use, and previously disabled the scan throttling on my device.

10. But the "signal history" feature here saves NO RUNNING HISTORY OF DEVICES/MAC's and unexpectedly DELETES ALL SIGNAL HISTORY when you switch tabs.

11. Be the first one to do it! (?The app monitors detectible wifi signals in real time.
