Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix USB Lockit Issues
1. Fix USB Lockit Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart USB Lockit: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the USB Lockit App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "USB Lockit" » Open USB Lockit - Pendrive Password » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for USB Lockit » click "UPDATE".
- Clear USB Lockit - Pendrive Password app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from USB Lockit servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "USB Lockit - Pendrive Password" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check USB Lockit app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, USB Lockit might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall USB Lockit. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall USB Lockit then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing USB Lockit not working
2. Fix USB Lockit Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make USB Lockit be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to USB Lockit not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, USB Lockit may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
