This way, if parents book via text message or phone call, the sitter can still keep their schedule all in one place, allowing them the ability to stay organized.Very expensive, yet still buggy (?) + scammy unsubscribe practices... This app is not a good value, and we plan to only use it long enough to find a few nearby sitters to book outside the app.

I asked for a refund for the new charge since I am not going to use their service but was denied any consideration.I am sitter, and I had a profile on this app, but it just stopped working right when everything was perfect; I found very nice families, and had such a great experience looking after children.

4. Most common (as in they happen frequently) are: 1) tried to schedule an interview/job of some kind, finished entering time and hit enter, the whole thing disappears and takes me back to my account so I have to start over.

10. Very poorly designed, with looping/repetitive prompts and unclear steps for basic things like managing active booking requests and sending messages.

11. The service urbansitter provides is much needed and while not cheap the annual fee is reasonable if you're using the service with regularity.

1. Fix UrbanSitter Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart UrbanSitter: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the UrbanSitter App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "UrbanSitter" » Open UrbanSitter - Find a Caregiver » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for UrbanSitter » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear UrbanSitter - Find a Caregiver app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from UrbanSitter servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "UrbanSitter - Find a Caregiver" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check UrbanSitter app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, UrbanSitter might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall UrbanSitter. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall UrbanSitter then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing UrbanSitter not working

2. Fix UrbanSitter Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make UrbanSitter be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to UrbanSitter not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, UrbanSitter may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
