1. I'm using airtel more than 10 years and now I think it's time to move to another network because all the data packages which useful to me is not offered anymore.I have been using airtel for 8 months now, initially it was good the packages were great.

2. Though Airtel data packages are great, I am very disappointed about data connection hanging and connection losses.

3. It's infuriating to not being able to use the app for what it's meant for.This app used to be customer friendly but with the new announcement of the merger of airtel and dialog the flash deals packages have dissapeared.

4. All the old data packages which benefited to the customers were cancelled & forced to activate freedome packages which has daily data limit.

5. worthlessEverything was so perfect, until airtel introduce the new freedom postpaid packages.

6. My favourite feature was the one day data packages of 10gb and 7gb because it was useful for downloads.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix My Airtel Issues

1. Fix My Airtel Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart My Airtel: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the My Airtel App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "My Airtel" » Open My Airtel » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for My Airtel » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear My Airtel app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from My Airtel servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "My Airtel" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check My Airtel app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, My Airtel might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall My Airtel. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall My Airtel then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing My Airtel not working


2. Fix My Airtel Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make My Airtel be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to My Airtel not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, My Airtel may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
