Doesn’t recognise registration code on watch

Hi I'm currently trying to use a giffgaff sim card in the kids sonic pro smart watch and it is not recognising the sim, from what I can see the sim is backwards compatible for 2g and is a gsm sim. Sim card is activated fine and is operational so I'm assuming its just not compatible with the smart watch but not sure why as the device should be completely unlocked and not just sim locked. Also when trying to get the registration code it just says "no registration code, please wait " thats it please advise on both issues thank you.

I previously emailed having issues setting up an account for my nieces watch, I have now managed to do this but now when I am trying to add the watch device onto the App it’s saying “ Please confirm the registration code is correct!”

It always says off line which isn't true because I can still text or call my son. Can my son disable this feature from his watch and or is there a way to fix this problem? I bought 2x Q528, both smartwatches are with me and locations are shown 10km away from me in opposite direction, in the middle shown my location. so 2 Smart watches are in same locarion and their locations shown in wrong locations 15k-20km away from eachother.
