SimplePractice Customer Insights

1. It is frustrating. For the most part I think this app is great! The main feedback I would give for changes is to allow for a week at a glance, the ability to use more colors associated with different appointment types, and the ability to access a little bit more information such as history of past appointments Like you can on the full desktop version.Ok app when you have everything updated and set on the desktop version, but you have very limited editing capabilities in the app to appointments (ex: co-pays- if you were waiting for the remittance form before charging so had $0 co-pay) and any documents you've sent to the client can't be viewed in the app once they completed it.

2. I'm glad they finally added in the ability to see and write clinical notes, but past notes are still not easily accessible on the patient summary page. The positives for me are being able to dictate my notes immediately after my session, and the ability to video sessions during the covid shut down.

3. All the fundamentals one needs for a practice & then some, for a reasonable price: scheduling, client info, billing, notes, forms, reports, superbills at the touch of a button and teletherapy.

4. For instance, today's question is, since I do have a Professional grade membership, with the videoconferencing option activated, may I videoconference with clients via my phone app as well as via my desktop? It would be so useful.I have recommended this app so many times to other therapists, I can't count.

5. Notes can't be viewed easily, instead you have to scroll back on the calendar to the last appointment with the client, click on that date, then you can view the note.

6. Scheduling changes do not show in the app for hours, even when you use the "sync your account" button (which only seems to pretend to update).

7. The app fails to sync messages after a few uses and I have to uninstall and reinstall to be able to see my messages (I have to do this at least two times a week.

8. A year later update sometime in April made the app unusable again continues with the sync and it stays that way until I close out the application.

9. The video sessions we'll go in and out at times and the audio with them can be garbled.Wasn't able to use it for almost a month...it seems as though it was constantly loading.

10. However, I have been frustrated with the piecemeal instruction videos and difficulty finding straight answers to simple questions.

11. Also would be nice to have a calendar grid option in addition to a daily scroll as your first interface.
