Work Log Customer Insights

1. Cons: I clearly mark the date of my work as the 27th of January and in the log view it says it's the 26th.

2. I attempted to log my time for the 1st of January and it says it's the 31st of Dec 2018, when I clearly mark it as the 1st of Jan, 2019.

3. Other then that I like the APP !I purchased this app to remove ads, but unfortunately, the app simply doubles the entry, so I'm not finding it usable at all...All my data suddenly got deleted out of nowhere.

4. I also attempted to edit it again, but it still says the same thing and it's wrong.

5. That's a huge problem! I would also love to see which client/project marked clearly on the log without clicking into it.It's decent.

6. Sometimes it double's/Triples my Hours so I have To CAREFULLY Delete some of the entrys so I can have my Accurate Hours.

7. It's super simple and to the point, which is great.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Work Log Issues

1. Fix Work Log Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Work Log: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Work Log App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Work Log" » Open Work Log - Time Tracking » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Work Log » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Work Log - Time Tracking app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Work Log servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Work Log - Time Tracking" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Work Log app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Work Log might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Work Log. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Work Log then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Work Log not working


2. Fix Work Log Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Work Log be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Work Log not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Work Log may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
