7 Weeks Customer Insights

1. The app logo is better, I guess, but I hate itLet me start off by saying that I've been using the 7 weeks app extensively for nearly 3 YEARS and I LOVED IT however I don't like this new update.

2. Adding a premium version with additional features for a fee would have been great, as long as the original app with its long-running functionality had remained as a free version.

3. I'm using the paid version of the app, I find the update ui a pain to use, I don't particularly like the confetti when you complete a habit for the day, i don't like that the ui around the alarms has completely switched sides (si what used to be mark complete is now snooze).

4. This is a great simple habit tracking app, that hasn't been updated since 2015.

5. There are multiple bugs that have never been addressed, such as inability to change the end date of your goals as it will not allow me to scroll further in the calendar.

6. I just wish that I would get notifications properly.I used to LOVE this app but the green/yellow color scheme doesn't motivate me as much as the red on dark grey used to.

7. Not worth paying forI've been unable to restore my 7Weeks Gold subscription.

8. Only being able to add 2 weeks at a time is incredibly annoying especially when you have a dozen habits you have to do that for.

9. It has no device sync (you change devices, you lose your data), and it's a little buggy with the reminder notifications (sometimes you get 'em, sometimes you don't).

10. I hope there is somewhere where I can fully give my suggestions and feedback as I really believe this could be the BEST habit tracking app with some more changes/tweaks, and adjustments.Unfortunately the developer has abandoned this app.

11. The current color scheme is also ugly as sin and a huge downgrade from the version of the app available a few years ago.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix 7 Weeks Issues

1. Fix 7 Weeks Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart 7 Weeks: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the 7 Weeks App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "7 Weeks" » Open 7 Weeks - Simplest Habit and G » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for 7 Weeks » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear 7 Weeks - Simplest Habit and G app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from 7 Weeks servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "7 Weeks - Simplest Habit and G" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check 7 Weeks app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, 7 Weeks might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall 7 Weeks. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall 7 Weeks then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing 7 Weeks not working


2. Fix 7 Weeks Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make 7 Weeks be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to 7 Weeks not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, 7 Weeks may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
