RE/MAX Customer Insights

1. Many listings have owner's name & # listed so you can call.Hard to use on the phone, keeps going back to map when trying to view property photos, if not swiped just right, gets annoying that it doesn't lock in place when viewing photos, then letting user decide when to go back to map Update: App still a mess, uninstalling and will never recommend it to anyone!! Can't save searches, always starts in a states away, still boots you out while trying to swipe photos, acreage not listed, and it just is not user friendly, I might hire another developerI just started using this app and read lots of reviews so still undecided whether to keep or delete.But it seemed very convenient and detailed I loved the maps it has street views satellite it really helped view surrounding areas,only one issue I ran into so far was submitting my info it wouldn't accept my mobile phone number says input incorrect...

2. Without being able to use filters, it shows EVERYTHING and when I try to view a listings photos, the app shuts down.

3. Would like to be able to do a state wide search for homes, horse ranches, etc., but you have to search by city, county, or zip code, one area at a time.

4. In list view not all the photos display as you scroll through the available properties.

5. Wide blue, top and bottom, banners on the "full size" pictures No satelite view.

6. Video tours, instead of virtual where you spin around the room from a camera position.App won't show any homes, just crashes every time.

7. Mortgage calculator does not update estimated monthly payments when you change the base numbers, i.e. down payment, interest rate, etc.

8. doing an internet search over an over, to have one place to find listings.

9. And after about 3-5 minutes on 1 property or when youve read details for 5-10 it shuts down.

10. When I can get it to search another state, it won't allow me to change the parameters.

11. Every single time.Half the time the save or favorites button does not work.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix RE/MAX Issues

1. Fix RE/MAX Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart RE/MAX: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the RE/MAX App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "RE/MAX" » Open RE/MAX® Real Estate » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for RE/MAX » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear RE/MAX® Real Estate app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from RE/MAX servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "RE/MAX® Real Estate" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check RE/MAX app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, RE/MAX might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall RE/MAX. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall RE/MAX then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing RE/MAX not working


2. Fix RE/MAX Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make RE/MAX be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to RE/MAX not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, RE/MAX may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
