1. 3. Turo is the world’s largest peer-to-peer car sharing marketplace where you can book any car you want from local hosts across the US, UK, Canada, France, and Australia.
4. Turo is Carbon Neutral Certified, so you can rest easy building your businesses and satisfying your wanderlust knowing that our carbon footprint is accounted for.
5. Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
1. (I was one step away from uninstalling.) Vehicle sharing with Turo seems like a neat idea, though I haven't yet found the vehicle I want to rent (to try before buying that model), the search UI needs work, and the extensive tracking attempts give me the heebie-jeebies.The app functions as intended but in need some fine-tuning.
2. I have been using it to rent vehicles to replace my vehicle after a major accident and wouldn't be able to navigate my every day life without the use of Turo and the wonderful hosts I have rented from.
3. Getting off the plane and just getting in a vehicle saves the headaches and hassles of dealing with other car rental businesses.
4. I recommend it for sure.Smooth process with Turo! Our host, Delan, dropped off the vehicle as discussed.
5. Things like clicking and dragging to select multiple photos is non-existent in the Android version but present in the iPhone version.I wasn't sure about using this app as it seems like the AirBnB for cars.
6. But I like the fact that it comes with an app that lets me contact my driver/host and let them know any updates about the car or vehicle as well as give me a chance to contact the app also.I've been using DuckDuckGo's (beta) function to defeat app tracking.
7. definitely worth booking through TuroRelatively affordable access to multiple vehicles that you wouldn't find through traditional car rental agencies.
8. my experience with the rental itself was good and the host was wonderful.
9. Since my first rental, it has been such an amazing and wonderful experience.
10. That would be fine, except the app won't let you have overlapping reservations so you have to go a day without a car before you can pick up your next rental.some of the fees are not upfront but it is definitely a slightly better option than rinsing from the big name rental companies.
11. the ease of use and real one on one personal experience made this my new go-to car rental service.
